Chocolate chip cookie pie takes the best parts of a chocolate chip cookie and turns them into a rich, indulgent dessert that’s easy to make.

Picture the center of a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie: warm, tender, and slightly gooey with melty chocolate. Chocolate chip cookie pie captures that sensation on a larger scale. It’s simple to prepare, requires just a few everyday ingredients, and delivers an impressive dessert that’s perfect for sharing.

This pie is one of the easiest you can make, which makes it a great project for novice bakers. The finished pie may look modest from the outside—golden and slightly bubbled—but once you slice into it you’ll find distinct layers: a soft, buttery cookie-like top, a molten chocolate layer underneath, all supported by a tender pie crust. Serve it warm with ice cream or whipped cream for maximum appeal and watch it disappear.
